I don’t believe that at all, but at the same time IMO there’s no doubt that Ewan is to blame, and we still fall into the narrative that it’s the woman’s fault, like she ~seduced him away from his wife and he’s blameless. Her actions were shitty, his were worse because he was the one with a family

You can think they're both assholes without falling into any kind of narrative. A woman who cheats with a married man is just as responsible as he is. It takes two to cheat, he doesn't cheat by himself. You don't need to get into the "she seduced him" narrative, that's totally beside the point. It doesn't matter how it happened, just focus on the fact that they're both responsible.
