January 15, 2019 Journalist and prolific Scientology critic Tony Ortega broke the news today that Leah Remini's show 'Scientology and the Aftermath' will finally air an episode featuring actor Danny Masterson’s accusers on February 18th. The episode, which was filmed for the second season, will air more than a year after it was pulled by request of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.
For those unaware, That 70s Show actor Danny Masterson began to be
investigated in March 2017 for
multiple violent rapes. Scientology allegedly helped cover up and
protect Masterson. He was
eventually fired from that
crappy Ashton Kutcher
Netflix show and
dropped by his agent.
According to Ortega, A&E's decision to air the episode is an "extremely unusual and legally super ballsy" for a network to do. A member of DA Jackie Lacey's office admitted to one of the accusers that while the office is fully behind charges being filed, the investigation is being slowed by Scientology's involvement. A&E has decided that the DA has had more than enough time to come to a decision.
Reshooting for the show is happening in Los Angeles. For much more information on the case, visit today's
