So if they can't hire one jackass, they're just going to hire a bunch of them.
Also "present the presenters" if they're already there.....why not just have them do it?

What is so wrong with having an announcer say "Here's so and so to announce this winner"

Agreed. This wouldn't make any sense other than being a weird long-ass plug for the MCU. I honestly think it could backfire and have people withdraw their nominations to not be a part of the mess.

no one is going to withdraw their nominations because of this...wtf

The MCU has featured about 40-odd Oscar nominees and winners in their movies, plus a lot of their stars are very well liked in Hollywood. Yeah there are some people who look down at the genre, but the Oscars have been super commercialized for decades and no one has withdrawn their nominations or refused an Oscar because it was hosted by someone who had a show on ABC

Idk, I'd find it bizarre to have them randomly being there all night. It would seem like a promo for the MCU more than an actual award show.

This is ridiculous. Presenters to present the presenters?

Just have an announcer announce the presenters and performers and leave it at that.

but then they'll need a presenter to announce the announcers.

I mean, they could have gotten winners of the past to come up and present some things if they wanted. I get the announcers being the past years winners but idk pick names out of a hat and ask them to present the announcers.

shine some light on older films to the (admittedly few) viewers lol

Yeah for some reason I couldn't get the words right lol

Since they usually have the previous years winners announce the new winners they could have a winner from, idk 20 years ago, introduce the previous years winner?

Gary oldman would announce this years winner but have Russell Crowe announce him to the stage.

Which those are awful examples of people Haha
