It hasn’t been a great start to to 2019 for rap superstar and former gaming entrepreneur DeAndre Cortez Way, known professionally as Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em. Just last month, Nintendo came for DeAndre Way’s bootleg gaming business and forced the “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” rapper to remove all of “his” game consoles from SouljaWatch.Com (don’t worry, you can still purchase a SouljaWatch, Nintendo had no interest in “his other” electronics).
And just yesterday, Soulja Boy’s vehicle was caught in the middle of a California mudslide in Malibu. A powerful storm that went through California over the weekend shut down the Pacific Coast Highway and trapped several motorists in flash floods and mudslides.
“My car got stuck too almost went into the ocean,” the rapper said on his Twitter account Sunday morning.
He added, “Was involved in a very bad car accident last night due to a flash flood and mud slide. I still haven’t got my car back it’s stuck in the water in the middle of the mud slide/flood.”
But the rapper then took to Instagram to count his blessings saying, “I’m just thankful to be alive, I don’t care about the car it’s materialistic you can’t take it with you when you’re gone.”
