dream hampton, the filmmaker responsible for the three part Lifetime documentary about R. Kelly's alleged abuse, has been giving interviews ahead of the documentary's premiere tonight.

According to hampton, celebrities have been particularly resistant to the idea of speaking on camera about R. Kelly. She asked a number of artists who previously worked with him or have been publicly somewhat critical of him including Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Dave Chapelle, Questlove, Lil Kim, Erykah Badu, Celine Dion, and Mary J. Blige to give an interview.

The only ones who were willing to be involved were John Legend and R&B singer Sparkle.
