I think he’s trying to show how the media/fans are outraged over Kevin’s past comments versus the lack of outrage that the media/fans have for when white women do the same thing. I think he’s saying there’s a double standard

I think it's complicated but I did view this as him focusing on the white part more than the female part (because I can't think of any white male comedians of interest ( ... )

Great points, I agree that it can be perceived as “worse” coming from a black man versus a white women since gays and women do have some weird overlap. And you’re right, it’s very complicated when you start breaking it down

Do you think it had to do with them being women or them being white? I'm curious because after the fact I tried thinking of white male comedians and... I can't think of any relevant ones unless you think of the late night show hosts but I don't think any of them can really count since they're more like neutered interviewers.
