Before the news of this porn ban I had no idea Tumblr was still a thing. I thought it died long ago with vine.

It should have. That website had a lot of gross shit on there, when I had a tumblr, I had to report so many websites and not just for the fucked up porn, but the tumblrs where they romanticized things like suicide or eating disorders.

Cancel that trash completely.

footnote to your comment: suicide and pro eating disorder comms are not a uniquely tumblr thing though. I remember a decade ago when Livejournal had tons of pro eating disorder and self-harm communities. I'm pretty sure reddit has them these days, too.

I've honestly never seen any of those before, I've been on liveiournal since I was a teenager but never saw it, it was so easy to find them on Tumblr tho.
