but basically, F/F has the lowest income ceiling of all three traditional pairings, but it's totally possible to make four figures, even mid four figures. It does require a release every 1-2 months (can be a novella though) and being trope heavy will get you far. Luckily, lesfic is a lot less restrictive than M/M or M/F subgenres in that readers will read just about anything if they like your lesbian pairings. (So you could write regular romance one month and alternate it with idk lesbian sci-fi another and readers won't really care unless they just really don't like scifi, lol.) It also doesn't require a lot of marketing money because it's not as crowded as M/M and M/F contemp romance.
