This is more "chokin" than "breathin". And the blame falls squarely on Marcus Mumford, who appears to lack any sense of pitch or rhythm.

Wow, I had no idea the band hangs out with the alt-right, but see this comment thread for the gruesome details.

Ugh. And you know he thinks his version is far superior to Ari’s.

this is what I can’t stand about live lounge, the attitude so many people have that all these artists are in some way ~elevating these pop songs

like every time I walk past a white male busker playing no diggity on a ukulele or some shit and I wanna die a lil bit

i hate that genre of music. No one wants your coffee house renditions of r&b, rap, most pop.

the orchestra was a fun idea but this is basically the same arrangement as the original except this has struggle vocals. boring

What i came in here to know.

Also, this version is just soooo boring. And he sounds like a cheap Chris Martin knock off. And I don’t even like Coldplay past album 2.

apparently they gave an interview in september trying to walk it back by saying they don't agree with all of his views~

i really hope ariana calls them out for associating with someone who dogwhistles about legalizing rape and then trying to get attention by covering one of her songs about female empowerment, but her feminism is very pick and choose as we saw with the whole pete debacle. maybe her stans can tweet at her about it lmao

i wondered if they ever denounced him or not. like good thing their music is ear-bleedingly unlistenable now even if you used to like them like i did.

I mean, I liked “Little Lion Man” and all, but his vocals here are a hate crime against nature.
