-First Wives Club has found a new home! BET! And with brand new leads at that!
-FWC was originally developed for Tvland and was going to star Megan Hilty (Smash), Alyson Hannigan (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Vanessa Lachey (98 degrees) before Viacom decided to steal all of Tvlands content and ditched the cast while moving it over to Paramount Network.
-Now Viacom has allegedly decided that Paramount Network isnt the best fit for the show now that all of the leads are African American.
-The new iteration of FWC will star This Is Us‘ Ryan Michelle Bathe as 'Ari', Enlisted‘s Michelle Buteau as 'Bree' and Black Lightning‘s Jill Scott as 'Hazel'.
-The first season will air in the new year and will be 10 episodes.
