I definitely judge books by their covers. I will flat out refuse to buy a book I want if it has a bad cover, and I'll always buy the better cover even if it's more expensive.

This is one of the worst I think I've ever seen:

But like, it is everything. The colour palette is gross, the whole photo looks like everything's been superimposed in together, and it looks like it was made in the 80's or 90's, not 2011 (and not just because of the dresses).

They are bad on purpose, it's about embracing the shittiness of 'women's fiction' cover. There is a article about here.

There's black and white ones that are much nicer but IA. I loathe those covers.
