My mom is a JW and is generally an extremely rational, logical person, so it's impossible for me to wrap my mind around how she's a Witness. She will say with a straight face that she did her research before becoming a Witness and JWs are the only religion that you can verify is right, and she truly believes that. I don't know why she can be so GOOD at making sense of almost everything else, and so bad at it with her religion.
