Filming has begun on the star-studded Roger Ailes biopic, and the first photos of Oscar winner Charlize Theron as hot fucking mess Megyn Kelly on set were released online.
Also starring in this movie - which was recently dropped by Annapurna Pictures because Meghan Ellison has no idea how to run a studio - are John Lithgow (as Ailes), Nicole Kidman (Gretchen Carlson), Allison Janney (Susan Estrich), Kate McKinnon, Malcolm McDowell (Rupert Murdoch), and Margot Robbie.
This is not to be confused with the Showtime series based on Ailes and his downfall at Fox News. Russell Crowe will be playing Ailes in that one, which is also in production (also Nicole's BFF Naomi Watts is playing Carlson in that one, so yeah).
Charlize Theron is ready for her next role.
The 43-year-old Oscar winner transformed into Megyn Kelly on Friday, the same day that the NBC journalist’s show, Megyn Kelly Today, was canceled in the wake of her controversial blackface comments.
