Hasan Minhaj is about to start his weekly Netflix show, "Patriot Act", so naturally he turned to the most stylish man on Netflix, Queer Eye's Tan France, for some much needed fashion advice. Tan also learns what a "fuckboy" is because he didn't already know what it was for some reason.

this was adorable, i honestly could watch a whole special on the two of them.

also the "chai tea" bit -- even though it's annoying, i get why americans say it that way since chai from east africa/south asia is highkey too spicy for ypipo and it very easily differentiates it as something that is probably too flavorful for them to drink

i'd expect this from a sibling or a jerk classmate but a teacher? yikes. i've always been a pretty sensitive kid too so if I even got the courage to correct a teacher on something like that and this happens i'd really be discouraged. i'm glad you were just annoyed. lol why are ppl like this

that's really good about your upbringing! I was a really well-behaved child and I still can't help but follow rules bc growing up I was taught to obey my elders no matter what, pretty much. & yeah, people really don't think of how important teachers are - at a young age they're the ones taking care of your kids for practically half the day and then as they get older, they're the ones guiding their futures! the underpaid aspect of it really doesn't help at all.

I get the frustration, but it’s whatever imo. English has a lot of phrases that are just “loaner word + meaning” like chai tea. It’s redundant and unnecessary, but nothing to burst a blood vessel over.
