It's crazy how much I used to love these movies but dgaf now. I feel that way about a lot of things lately actually. Like I'm getting old, I don't think I care about kids stuff anymore and that's sad (still watches Riverdale).

i understand you. i watch movies a lot of times but i can't enjoy these kind of things now. i think fantasy-based escapism is beyond me now.

Oh no I'm still all about fantasy-based escapism except it's gone from light-hearted stuff like How to Train Your Dragon to soul-crushingly depressing things like The Haunting of Hill House. The ~darker the better lol (as long as it's not political, then it's just too real).

Man, I consider myself a cinephile too but numerous random TV shows have sucked me in lol. Watching a movie is such an experience for me I have to make a whole night of it.
