i'm hoping for this line of acting winners too! bradley's got this in the bag, and i bet regina will too once beale street is out. i'm worried about tim because buzz for the movie's waning (plus the bad reviews) and best actress is still a bloodbath

Honestly I've thought it would be Richard E. Grant since I saw the trailer for CYEFM? The only other person really in the mix is Sam Elliot, but I think his part is too small to win, though he'll still get a nomination.

i saw the movie, and richard's great but... i wasn't blown away by him. then again i ain't an academy member lmao

plus the academy LOVES to give older actors their life-long due so i can almost see elliot getting it for that alone

If the Academy wants to go that route, Harry Belafonte is right there and his win would get him an EGOT. Sam Elliot was fine in ASIB, but is he an actor people really care about?
