After a rough year, Lena Dunham has shut down her vanity project feminist newsletter, Lenny Letter. She created the newsletter with her former producing partner, Jenni Konner, because Lena is self-indulgent and narcissistic Lena wanted to create an e-newsletter that featured women writers.
Authors featured in the newsletter include Roxane Gay, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Obama, and Amy Schumer.
It's possible that many people unsubscribed after Lena, you know, defended an accused rapist and publicly smeared his alleged victim. Contributor Zinzi Clemmons stated that she would no longer support the letter.
Three months ago, Konner and Dunham announced that they were ending their producing partnership. Their HBO show Camping is getting terrible reviews and ratings.
