October is National Domestic Violence Awareness, recently the Gotham actress revealed via twitter that she was in a domestically abusive relationship. And that even though she lived near a police station, she never reported the abuse for fear of what would happen to her abuser. Encourages those suffering from domestic abuse that are unable to go to the police to talk to friends about their situation.
