I feel like the only two kinds of R&B that get put out these days are like dark, moody stuff where someone is whispering some lyrics or "basically a trap song but with a (slightly) better sung chorus". I don't even dislike a lot of that stuff, but it's like *Whitney voice* I listen to singers.
