I liked the songs and (most) of the visuals and choreography, but the story was so bland and predictable.

I wanted more focus on the actual performers in the circus. Barnum was so boring; where did these guys come from, what have they been through? No one went to the circus itself to see Barnum, why glue the whole damn movie to him?
