I remember when this first happened, she said something like "my face is going to look completely different" and she had everyone believing that she had been catastrophically mangled and then the almost... disappointment? that came out when she wound up looking exactly the same lol

Lol I know what you mean. I guess it felt like the end of the world for her, or maybe her surgeon is THAT good.

yeah I mean, presumably she was live-tweeting during the wound healing process when things were more uncertain. I'm sure it was very scary for her, I just remember the collective "oh" when she finally emerged lol

Working in Hollywood warps your perception of yourself 100% look at how every little thing gets nit picked on women.

That’s why I also don’t lose my shit when JLaw (and other actresses) complains about being referred to as fat or whatever. Obviously we can see she isn’t but the reality she lives in , being told 100’s of times she is fat ...

lol - even looking at the picture it took me a sec to see it. I was expecting something larger around her cheek where it couldn't be missed.

yeah, but to someone in the business where the odds of having body dysmorphia point to 'v likely', it could be as big of a change in her face, to her, as she made it sound
