• Netflix is releasing the third season later this year.
• Season three is most likely to be based on book five (The Burning Land) and book six (Death of Kings) from Bernard Cornwell’s The Saxon Stories, which The Last Kingdom has been adapted from.
• The cast includes: Alexander Dreymon, David Dawson, Ian Hart, Tobias Santelmann (Norwegian bae), Emily Cox, Millie Brady, Eva Birthistle (my fave warrior nun), Toby Regbo etc.
