Same. It's common in a lot of scenes but I feel like a lot of labels don't see this concept for Top 40 pop cause a one-off single is not attached to anything and can steal momentum from an era (unless it's a downgraded lead single, we all know those). Some of the biggest hip hop hits of the streaming era at least stated as one off singles (but are usually then added to a project to boost numbers lol)

Same. But I'd rather have a bunch of one offs here and there than wait in complete silence for him to remasturbate same LP for ages until it sounds the way he wants to
