If Rami Malek is good in Bohemian Rhapsody, I wonder if he'll/the studio will try to campaign.

it'll depend on the reaction the press and the public has since it still has the potential to bring attention back to that fucking creeper bryan singer and the melt down he had during the making of the movie, and the rumors that someone else came in and finished it.

They weren't rumors, Dexter Fletcher came in to finish the movie but because of Guild guidelines, Singer is the one credited.

ITA. About half these names don't belong on this list. It's way too early to even make a list like this if you want to be taken seriously.

As one of ten movies nominated, why not? The costumes, hair and makeup, production design, editing, special effects, sound and song are all possible nominations it could pick up and deserve. If it actually gets nominated for 6 or 8 technical awards, should it not be considered for a Best Picture nomination? I'm not saying I think it deserves to win, but sometimes just getting the nomination is a big deal.

Topher Grace was one of the weakest parts of BK. Though I would like to see Adam nominated. he did a great job. And i can totally seen Daniel not only getting nominated but winning as an almost make up oscar since he had the better movie and gary oldman's oscar was more of a lifetime achievement things since while yes he's a major scumbag, and he can fall down a flight of stairs, he's also done way better movies.

though Richard E. Grant and Sam Elliot getting nominated wouldn't break my heart in general.

I'm the weirdo that has always preferred the supporting actor categories. Tilda can kick rocks.
