+ Rumors have been swirling about a full version of Lake Effect Kid since shortly after MANIA was released, but yesterday we finally got confirmation.
+ For those who don't know, Lake Effect Kid was a demo released on the Welcome to the New Administration mixtape before Folie à Deux was released in 2008. Fans have been wishing for a full version ever since.
+ The whole EP is a love letter to Chicago. Each song seems to represent an era of FOB's sound - Lake Effect Kid is pre-hiatus FOB, City in a Garden is similar to Save Rock and Roll and American Beauty/American Psycho, and Super Fade may be one of the songs they cut from MANIA after the mixed reception of Young and Menace (but it's SO much better than Y&M imo).
