You've never heard anyone say toque for real? So what do you call it...? Though I guess when I think about it, we prob just say "put on your hat" 90% of the time, but definitely toque if we need to specify the type of hat

i'm from québec and a lot of these are unknown to me. tuque is the one i could recognise the most.

That's interesting, I'm from BC and regularly say toque, chirping and gong show, but it could be a generational thing too.

I only know what a toque is because I knit and this is actually the first time I’ve heard it pronounced

I'm from northwest Minnesota (six miles from Canada), my dad says touque.

Same here. Seems like nearly all of them are white Canadian culture/redneck culture.

But didn't know kerfuffle was a Canadian word so the more you know I guess.
