Ugh I wish I could go to either NYC or Philly but I have no idea who I would ask to go with me :((

I am so obsessed with their new album though, it's been playing on a constant loop on Spotify

Seconded with the above user. I've been to a bunch of concerts on my own since nobody's music taste seems to align with mine. Y&Y are great performers. The only thing is: the crowd tends to be a bit younger. So if you're an old geezer like me, you might feel slightly out of place, but that's what smart phones are for lol.

How is Terminal 5 as a venue? Is it big/good sound quality?? Theyre playing at Paradise which is super tiny.

I'm listening to Palo Santo now. I wasn't sure about the second and third singles, but I'm really digging the album overall. I might have to get tickets for the LA show.... GA, though. At least the Wiltern has walls I can lean on lol.

they're one of the few bands who has an audience that respects personal space during GA shows. everyone's just dancing and having fun.

Oh, no, I wasn't worried about Y&Y fans moshing hahaha. I just meant that I'm old and don't like to stand the whole time between doors opening and Y&Y coming on. I know there are designated seats available, but who wants to sit all the way up away from the stage if it's basically the same price?

ah gotcha! if you don't care for the openers and don't mind being not at the front go have dinner or drinks and show up just for their set time. that's what I did last time. plus the alcohol is slightly cheaper lol

Oh damn they're playing at the BEST venue in Seattle. I danced on stage with The Sounds and with Natalie Portman's Shaved Head there, I saw The New Pornographers, Beats Antique, and countless other great bands there but it's always just little indie folks. Glad to see some pop acts going there. It's such an intimate and awesome venue. Oh man, between Kalis Uchis, Troye Sivan (on my birthday!) and Years and Years this fall is looking to be a very fun and money-draining fall for concerts.

Lol I know I sound like the biggest hipster douche (and I was!)

Nowadays I only listen to pop and vaporwave, whose band names are always like "Telecomputer 1983", "Synchronic Symphomatic Autotron 1984", "Electric Discodisaster 1985", etc...
