- Overwatch recently revealed its new champion Hammond, or "Wrecking Ball", a genetically evolved and genius engineer hamster who operates as a tank, from Horizon Lunar Colony like Winston.
- Updates: Season 11 competitive started a few days ago. Symmetra's kit has been reworked to be more offensive, more changes are coming to Sombra and Torbjörn, and "Damage" and "Offensive" were merged together as the "Damage" group. The "Find group" feature has been implemented. Players can now give other players "Endorsements" in Quick Match and Competitive, and players will also have their Endorsement level displayed to other players.
- The quarter finals of Overwatch League will begin next Wednesday, July 11, and will conclude with the Grand Finale July 27-28 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
