June 24, 2018 -Despite their 35-year+ history, Depeche Mode just don't play British festivals - they've never done Glastonbury or Reading
-As such the band had trouble working the crowd at the Isle of Wight festival
-Their performance started off with some new/slower songs, building up to the finale of more well-known songs
-People finally started waking up after they played 'Everything Counts'
-After playing 'Personal Jesus,' Dave Gahan yelled, “Well, wakey wakey!”
The setlist:
Going Backwards
It’s No Good
A Pain That I’m Used To
Precious
Policy Of Truth
World In My Eyes
Cover Me
The Things You Said
In Your Room
Everything Counts
Stripped
Personal Jesus
Never Let Me Down Again
Somebody
Walking In My Shoes
Just Can’t Get Enough
Enjoy The Silence
Source ONTD, have you ever been to a concert/festival where the fans just weren't into it?
