She's All That. Clueless. 10 Things I Hate About You - all classic 90's high school movies. But OP's fave has always been the lesser-known but incredibly quotable Can't Hardly Wait, written and directed by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan.

Plot Summary: School's out, and an entire graduating class -- from football stars and cool girls to complete nerds -- gathers at a wealthy classmate's home for a party. There, the artistic Preston (Ethan Embry) hopes to move in on Amanda (Jennifer Love Hewitt), the beauty he has admired from afar for years. Dorky William (Charlie Korsmo) schemes to pay back meathead Mike (Peter Facinelli) for years of bullying, and would-be rapper Kenny (Seth Green) gets locked in a room with snarky Denise (Lauren Ambrose).

EW noted that it was released 20 years ago (!!!) with this compilation of teen-movie party scenes, and I tracked down what the cast has been doing in the past couple of years.


Jennifer Love Hewitt (Amanda Beckett)

• JLH recently appeared on Criminal Minds, and currently stars on 9-1-1.

Ethan Embry (Preston Myers)

• Ethan Embry currently stars in Sneaky Pete, and plays Frankie's son Coyote on Grace and Frankie.

Charlie Corsmo (William Lichter)

• CHW was Charlie's last acting credit until this year. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Law and the U.S. director of the Canada-U.S. Law Institute at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law

Lauren Ambrose (Denise Fleming)

• Lauren was involved in the X-Files revival, and is currently starring in My Fair Lady on Broadway, a role for which she was nominated for a Tony.

Peter Facinelli (Mike Dexter)

• Has starred in Nurse Jackie and Supergirl, and currently appears on S.W.A.T.

Seth Green (Kenny Fisher)

• He probably has the most credits of anyone on this list. Seth created Robot Chicken, and continues to do the voice of Chris Griffin on Family Guy, which is almost as old as this movie.
