Neal E. Boyd, an opera singer, won “America’s Got Talent” Season 3 in 2008 and released two albums (My American Dream, 2009 and My Christmas Wish, 2013). He also ran for the Missouri House of Representatives twice and performed at the GOP Convention in Florida in 2012.

He died in Sikeston, Missouri.

Coroner Scott Amick said, “He had heart failure, kidney failure and some liver disease. Just a number of things were wrong with him, and ultimately that’s what led to his demise. Neal was on a CPAP machine and when EMS got there, they put the monitor on him and confirmed he was deceased.”
