Chapter 9, Goblet of Fire nearly finished me. I rewrote it more times than I can now remember.

Shame she didn't rewrite that ridiculous cheesy ass epilogue, maybe we could've gotten a decent, slightly imaginative ending.

Yes, I'm still bitter.

As far as I remember, the ending was fine as it is. The epilogue really was not necessary.

sriously. The final line of the final chapter is really powerful iirc. I remember being absolutely satisfied.

Then I turned the page.

Harry / Luna is the gift we did not deserve

i love them so much! especially after the last battle, luna was legit the only person who realized harry needed some time alone so she helped him escape for a bit ;;

harry/luna would've been really cute but JK is way too boring for a pairing like that.

seriously. harry/ginny was so boring and predictable imo.

I remember the epilogue leaked before the book was released and a bunch of fans were saying that it was clearly fake because JK would never write something that bad, that unimaginative, that cheesy and poorly conceived.

Then then books came and it was like...oh my god the "fake" epilogue is real?!?!?!?!

THIS! It came out and I was having a birthday party and my friend was just reading instead of hanging out (which is weird, but whatever) and she screamed "THE EPILOGUE WAS REAL?!!?" and I was like "...happy birthday to me tho, pls."

I pretend that the Epilogue didn't happen. Whenever I re-read the books I just stop after the flawless ending.
