i saw how to talk to girls and it was so fucking stupid. i wish people would stop making elle fanning a lead (and ugh at her being in TWO movies out this weekend, come on hollywood). i am curious to see In Darkness though

also i finally saw first reformed, and while it was going great, the ending really disappointed me. it just felt so cliche that i was a bit let down. i legit went 'that's it?' like wtf

at the same time i don't want yet another blond non-entity taking up good roles that could've gone to... more talented people

well that the thing we'll never know, maybe she gets roles specifically for her or the leftovers from those other people

Ugh, that's a shame that HTTTGAP is bad, I kind of wanted to see it even though everything I read about it pointed toward "no". :/ I think Neil Gaiman's work is hard to adapt.

What made you want to see it in the first place?

nicole kidman lmao. she's wonderfully over-the-top in it but nowhere near enough to save this movie

I’m tired of Elle Fanning too. I saw Neon Demon in the theater and the amount times they zoomed in on her face was ridic and the longer I looked at her the more funny looking she became to me? Idk. She’s everywhere and I don’t get it. I like her sister though.

I'm officially tired of Elle. To have two of your flop indies dumped on the same weekend that Solo opens is fitting.

I watched that Mary Shelley trailer, and they couldn't even find 2 minutes worth of clips where she sustained a British accent. She also seems way too modern for the period. I would have enjoyed seeing this story told with a better lead and script.
