• The Board of Governors that oversees the Academy of Motion Picture Sciences, the Academy Awards Voting Delegation, met on Tuesday night and decided unanimously to expel both Roman Polanski and Bill Cosby from their membership ranks.

Nate was convicted but it was overturned on a technicality. Affleck wasn't convicted because he settled out of court and the case was dropped.

I'm just happy that more and more women are suing Weinstein so he isn't going to be able to comeback.

He was acquitted only on the stupid belief that "you can't rape your girlfriend" (i.e. once you have sex once you can't withdraw consent ever).

I mean, like, Rita Wilson wasn't invited until 2016 based on what I am seeing online... it's hard to understand how his achievements trump hers.

I eventually found an article that confirmed Collins right about when you commented, and it's pretty horrifying how much of a (mediocre) white man's world this still is.

I'm sickened anew. That statistics I'm reading are scary, and we have to hold an organization like this extra accountable , as media producers so deeply influence culture.
