#Blockers just destroyed at #SXSW - wild raunchy teen sex comedy with lots of big laughs, adorable moments, and John Cena bare ass. The trailers do not do this one justice - really fun time. pic.twitter.com/5ql8jZBK6P

The upcoming Universal comedy Blockers, starring Leslie Mann, John Cena, and Ike Barinholtz as a group of parents attempting to stop their teenage daughters from losing their virginity on prom night, premiered to rave reviews last night at SXSW. Directed by Kay Cannon (screenwriter of the Pitch Perfect series and a former writer on 30 Rock and New Girl), the movie opens in the U.S. on April 6. Check out some more reactions below.

I’ve seen TRAINWRECK SPY and many many many more comedies debut in this theater and #Blockers blows them allllllll away. #SXSW

I’m totally here for #Blockers, Leslie Mann’s bonkers physical comedy and the message for teenage girls to encourage them to have agency over their sexuality. #SXSW

cannot overstate how big of a hit #BLOCKERS is about to be. it’s a John Cena-sized crowdpleaser, the biggest that’ll likely play #sxsw. let Kay Cannon direct everything in this genre

#SXSW has done it again. #Blockers is going to be a huge hit. Think 'American Pie' meets 'Bridesmaids.'

GO SEE THIS MOVIE. #Blockers is wickedly funny, smart and offers a female perspective rarely seen in raunchy comedies. Never heard a theater audience laugh so hard from start to finish. Can we get Kay Cannon back in the director's chair ASAP? https://t.co/nw3jJYEXal
