I can't remember if Hilary Duff's is meant to be for TV or theater but if Tarantino makes his version people will watch it. I hope they market this one as approved by the family and it does well.

It's not. Neither will Hilary Duff's. They're both going straight to DVD (I guess it's Blu-ray now, right) or TV. Even if Tarantino's film wasn't being made. Nobody is asking for any of these films. Especially from a never was and a has been.
