Favorite A24 film last year? Good Time. One I'm looking forward to? The Lighthouse, with Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, directed by Robert Eggers. It starts filming later this month.

Good Time was so intense. While I didn't care for The Witch, this sounds interesting.

I loved Good Time sfm, Robert Pattinson was amazing in it. My fave from last year has to be The Killing of a Sacred Deer or A Ghost Story.

I've been waiting on every and any one of the projects Eggers mentioned during The Witch promo, but this is my first time hearing of this one! I'm glad to hear that it's actually close to filming; everything else seems to be in pre-pre-production.

I didn't start hearing about this until last month, but it's full steam ahead. They've begun set construction in Nova Scotia and the signage says they will be filming there until May 11th. They're building a 1890's style lighthouse and have rented an old airplane hanger for the interior scenes. I think actually filming starts in two weeks.

"A fantasy-thriller that explores old seafaring myths" sounds very cool to me.
