In an interview with Buzzfeed Portman addresses the Roman Polanski petition she signed in 2009.
In 2009 Polanski was arrested in Switzerland at the request of US authorities, and over 100 people in the film industry signed a petition calling for his release. (Switzerland rejected the extradition later.)
