911/Mr Lonely should be way higher.

A two, three paragraph description of each song seems excessive.

I agree, although, even tho I initially enjoyed more upbeat side of Flower Boy, the more I revisit the album, more I think slower, and, a bit, sadder songs are the strongest part of the album. Never though an artist like him will come through with a record this strong

So this prompted me to listen to that Cardi B song bc I have never heard it and it's pretty catchy, but I don't get why it was so insanely popular.

I like Mythological Beauty, but Big Thief has better songs.

Why the FUCK isn't Mystery of Love on this list.

Yes @ Mystery of Love. It's easily one of the year's best.

I can't stand to listen to Bodak Yellow, the way she drags out the words ("maaaaaahney moves") is just really annoying.

This unexpectedly turned out to be one of my favourite songs of the year. Top of the World is great too.

*Edited to add Top of the World because it really is amazing. Can't wait for the album.

My song of the year is Lust for Life by Lana & Weeknd (closely followed by ILY2 by Charli, bye @ Boys), but this has been for me personally the weakest year for music in AGES. I mean I don't stan Adele at all but at least that's vaguely music I like so I wasn't mad when she dominated, but this has been Ed Sheeran's year and uuugh. And all my fave pop girls either got delayed by months or flopped. Apart from The New Respects' Money I didn't hear ONE properly exciting new rock song. Whoever said music would get better under Trump was
