i needed 1000% less of rapist weirdo frank griffin and his "do you have a pappy?" "i seen my death" canned lines and monologues.

lmao omg fucking THIS!!! Like I wouldn't have minded if Bill would've had more of a storyline (he kinda disappeared on his tracking trip there and I still can't @ how fucking useless the military turned out to be though I guess that's realistic lol) and I also didn't mind watching Roy arrange horses in a weird pattern for 1000 hours or being a daddy to Truckee (that boy was so good!) but fucking Frank, man, he should've died from blood poisoning after the amputation.

a follow up would be great now that he's dead and all the women lived. blackdom can't be completely wiped out either as it was a historic town. we deserve to see both towns rebuild.

And yes ita we deserve this superior 2nd season! If the 1st one was already so good with leper-loving Frank, just imagine how good a 2nd season could be!

Also thanks for reminding me that the Pinkerton guy had a name, they were srsly the heterotp of the show despite their late appearance... like how romantic was that shit when she stormed out of the house double-pistol wielding and with multiple gun wounds while he tried to reach her in his undies?! lmao Mary/Callie though >>>>> (Although I also ship Bill/glasses >>>>>>)

dude, i was so excited for scoot mcnairy (bill) to have a good post-halt and catch fire gig and all he really did was wander around looking cute and squinting. which all things considered might be gender parity so i'll allow it lmao. maggie turning out to be the main mcnue was lowkey awesome, though, even if i'm currently in the process of writing a strongly worded letter to netflix about how i want more bill and maggie scenes (with extra emphasis on more awkward bill, maggie, and callie scenes where the ladies don't give a single fuck about his fragility 😬)

"leper-loving Frank"

lmao that whole bit with him and the hot dying lady... god, i hated his whole everything. i need to gif his death asap.

pinkerton guy doesn't have a name as far as i know so i've taken to calling him by his house of cards character's name. and you're damn right about maggie/callie. i went in not knowing they would be a couple or that there'd be any lgbt content at all, and was so pleasantly surprised. i wish more people would give godless a shot, if for no other reason than the beautiful cinematography and the great callie and maggie stuff. "hell lady, i could find you in the dark" is the highest quality romance i've seen since "there is nothing important that does not include you" 🤧

!!! pls !!! i need it !!! or him being like "y tf r u wearing pants" and her being like "have u tried wearing a corset?!" ... god i really loved their interactions, really would've loved more of that whole family. and lol you're right about the gender parity thing, bill was so useless (should've read more newspapers!!!) but at least he was cute (i was hoping he'd whip out his glasses for the final boss fight though and headshot them all or something lol alas).

and i must admit that i just didn't get the point of frank looking after those poor dying folk for a day before riding off to kill some more innocent ppl. like ??? and those evil twins drove me so mad, my biggest cheer moment of the finale was when maggie & alice shot that one twin off his horse and straight off the roof.

also, yes, i wasn't expecting any lgbt+ content either and was prepared for the show to be pretty damn conservative, so i was so pleasantly surprised? and they were so cute and ride-or-die <333 i would've written a protest letter if they'd let that jealousy storyline play out differently but thankfully it was just a misunderstanding (and callie got maggie the best damn birthday present wow).

merritt and scoot had such good chemistry as siblings lmao. i wish the series had been centered more on them/the town of women (but i still really enjoyed alice, roy, and her family. granny badass and truckee were a delight). and don't you know? wearing glasses once or twice cures a man's eyesight 😤

"and i must admit that i just didn't get the point of frank looking after those poor dying folk for a day before riding off to kill some more innocent ppl. like ???"

honestly, i think it was a very clumsy attempt at humanizing him, which was totally unnecessary. it just made him into a clown. keep bad guys bad 2k17

"my biggest cheer moment of the finale was when maggie & alice shot that one twin off his horse and straight off the roof."

warm and fuzzies every. time.

"and callie got maggie the best damn birthday present wow"

definitely need me a freak like that. like, she got a nude before nudes were even a thing AND she got a kickass german buddy out of the whole thing. where's mine??

uhmm excuse you!!! *points to self* can't help with the nudes though 😁 i pray you'll find yourself a callie who lets herself get painted like one of those french girls 🙏

and ditto on everything, i found that gif set and reblogged it... i need a gif of every moment of the shootout tbh, it was epic.

lmao i didn't wanna presume 😍 how are you with a rifle?

the desire to gif every frame grows... i've seen some complaints about the finale sucking, and besides the cheesy choppy slow mo at certain points, i'm just like... how??? that finale shootout is goddamn iconic
