conchita and i met after i lost my catbuddy of thirteen years and she had lost her mama and been abandoned by the rest of her family. we really did find each other at exactly the right time <3

Way late but how did you rescue her?
There's a ginger cat that I think is a stray that hangs around my door and runs away when I get near

Lots of patience and waiting for her to come around, mostly. I bought her cat food and left it at my door and I also bought her snacks and what did the trick finally was putting a toy full of catnip by her while she was eating. She started playing with it and I was able to catch her and bring her inside my apartment. I spent the entire day with her once she was in the house to get her used to the idea of being with me.
