AMAZING, the violence against women in latin-america is one of our biggest issues and I'm glad they spoke about it, great way to use their voices <3

It's terrible and I try to remember if it was this bad when I was growing up. Though being part of the domestic violence and child abuse stats I'm aware it was bad but it's like everyday on the news dead women, dead little girls every single day.

Yeah same, tbh I think it was similar but we didn't hear that much about it like we hear right now because we now care more about it, at least the goverment made feminicidio a thing and some people are more aware.

But we still have sooo much to do regarding that issue.

Edit: I read wrong the part about the stats, I'm truly sorry, this country is a fucking mess regarding children and women/girls, I want to believe we are getting better and sometimes I do believe that but then stories like the Yuliana one happen and I lost my faith in men and in the country, even if we have made some progress.

The Yuliana thing was horrible.

This was specially powerful in Perú because the last week a man got caught raping his 2 month old baby girl. 2 MONTH OLD! People have actually tried to force his way into jail to kill him.

The Yuliana thing was awful indeed, and people thought the guy was going to get away with it because his parents had conections, but the GP were reaaally mad so there was a lot of pressure to the police and the DA, at least he is in jail now and his reputation is shattered, the guy had like 50000 images, videos, etc of CP, in almost all his computers.

And ughh, I hope he gets tortured in jail, a baby?? no me jodan

And you know Rafael Uribe Noguera (the world needs to know his name) thought he'd get away with it. I know it's not gonna happen because they're rich and with connections but I hope this ruins that rotten family of enabler sociopaths. And they're sociopaths, anyone who sees a little girl's body and does what they did instead of calling the police is a fucking sociopath.

my shitty country has had feminicidio as an aggravant factor in murder cases... people just sent the senate a popular project to end that cause #alllivesmatter IM SO FUCKING PISSED @ how they just pretend not to get it and add the stupid "more men are murdered" argument every time. its so frustrating

Here was the same before that law passed, men saying that it wasn't different the murders between men and women forgetting that feminicidio was about the cases where being a woman was the main.factor of the homicide, like husbands killing and abusing their wifes, men raping and killing little girls, etc,.etc, but of course men had to make that about themselves, pendejos mamones sin oficio.
