Girl she doesn't have to be masked in literal brown paint for it to be brown face. She had a dark tan and a black wig.

Its not a movie with a white woman with an assumedly fake tan though. She literally tanned to be brown/middle eastern passing for a middle eastern character in a movie set in the middle east. That in itself is brownface.

And im Persian too.

Yeah I get it, my family is light skinned too but stereotypically we are depicted as brown, dark etc so I found it super transparent that they found white actors and made them look stereotypically middle eastern so they could be played off as convincing middle eastern characters. Ridiculous.
