lmao i love colin baker's ~i'm not sad, i'm disappointed~ attitude towards the manbabies. i'm sure that stings. they can't exactly turn against him.

lmao would they even dare?? His tweets were so great. These dinosaur whovian nerd bros are trash tbh.

A bunch of my friends are big on the Trek fandom too and arguing with pissed off Trekkies last night who were just as bad and disgusting about Jodie. I was like... it comes as literally no surprise that Trekkie broflakes are just the same kind of trash, this is why I don't engage with straight men in that fandom anymore.

Like these so-called 'fans' actually missed the ENTIRE point of both these shows.... how.

ikr? the top comment is all ~omg i'm shocked you would say that colin~ and you can feel the butthurt through the screen tbh :')

ughhhhh i can only imagine. literally what is the point? why are they so disgusting? why don't they ~get over it~ and ~it's just a show~ and whatever they always say to female viewers?

mte mte. it's disappointing but not at all surprising.

I only shit on Kate Mulgrew because she was rude to me lmao, but ikr ikr.

SO many fans who think they're 'real fans' and that girls are 'fake fans' who literally don't even know what the point of these shows is...

mteee you know I have the same outlook on famous people who behave badly in my presence 👀

and lol my brother never wants to and has no interest in meeting or knowing anything about any actors, and when he has accidentally through work he still dgaf. He divorces the actor from the character completely and stans no one, doesn't watch things for a particular actor, when I mention anything about an actor he's like I don't want to hear it. It's hilarious.

CAN'T EVEN STAN RIGHT.

Actually if he had been the only one the would have turned against him (might still do). He is the one Actor who would understand being at the receiving end of fan hatred. I mean at one point a fanzine printed that losing his child to SIDS was karmic justice for being a bad Doctor.

but hating on a male doctor? all the male doctors have been great, according to these dudebros, solely on account of their penises :D

Fanbabies hate Colin anyway and have said vile things about him since he was first cast. There were apparently fanzines published that had 'fans' writing about how he deserved his son's death due to SIDS because he ruined the show.

copy/paste but, hating on a male doctor? all the male doctors have been great, according to these dudebros, solely on account of their penises :D

basically, imo it'll be tough to criticize a male actor rn, when their entire argument is "women are terrible, the doctor needs to be a man, all men are awesome, and all we need is a male doctor pls pls pls"

Fanbabies habe actually always had problems with Colin, Sylvester, and Paul but like to pretend now that they never did because they gotta hate women and act like they never did anything wrong with how they treated those three.

lmao mte! that's why i'm enjoying this. because, if they admit that a male performer was a bad choice, that means gender isn't the be-all and end-all, therefore choosing a woman could actually work. honestly, the mental gymnastics amuse me to no end.

I geeked out with Colin as the 'Change my dear...' comment were his first words as the Doctor.

Seriously though, for all the hate he gets and the problems with his time as the Doctor he is so positive and supportive of Doctor Who when by all accounts he could have left the whole thing behind and no-one would blame him.

mte mte, (to my knowledge) he's displayed no bitterness and i love how he still supports the show.
