I don't understand why she lied like this. What was the end goal? Did she really think Kandi wouldn't expose her/that she wouldn't be found out? How did she expect to get away with it?

Someone give me a rundown. I stopped watching ATL awhile ago but I heard there's a blow up and these clips don't explain it lol.

phaedra told porscha that kandi had told her that kandi and todd were going to drug porscha so they could have a threesome with her.

porscha has been repeating it on the word of phaedra. but it came out on the reunion phaedra only "heard" it from someone else. not straight from kandis mouth.

phaedra was so back into a corner she had to basically straight up admit she made it all up (she half kept up "well i heard it" and half admitted it- so for a housewife straight up admitted it lol)

Long story short, Phaedra basically made up a lie to Portia saying that Kandi wanted to drug and rape her in her sex dungeon. So the whole season it's been back and forth with Kandi and Portia. Then in the reunion Portia finally said who told her all that and Phaedra tried to backtrack and change her story like four times. Basically Phaedra set up Portia because she was mad at kandi for whatever reason
