The cast and crew discuss just some of the Gods you'll meet this Sunday (some new scenes, avoid if you don't want some minor spoilers)

American Gods is a series that will tackle issues of race, religion, and other provocative subjects head-on. And with it centering on the oncoming war between the Old Gods and the New, you can expect a lot of blood to be shed. But what else will you be seeing on this show? Male nudity.

- “Starz loves cock.” was Bryan Fuller's simple explanation, but was quick to add “ ‘Equal opportunity’ was the actual term. They knew that there was going to be sexual content in the show, and we were clear that it was always going to be uncuttable, in the sense that it would be related to character and story, and be presented as artfully as anything else.”
[BOOK SPOILERS]
- “You couldn’t tell the Salim-and-Jinn story without being honest about it, and we really wanted to tell that story and tell it right. It’s probably the part of the book we tell with the most fidelity, because it’s very moving and romantic.”

- With shows in the past like SPARTACUS, STARZ was very encouraging with Fuller and Green wanting to add male nudity to the show explaining that the network said, “ ‘Do what you want, do it artfully, and do it with our support.’ ”
- The first episode will feature [minor spoilers]a cell-phone dick pic, the second ep will show the real thing, and the third [BOOK SPOILERS] a full-frontal shot of an extremely well-hung Jinn
- STARZ was the first and only network that Fuller and Green went to for looking for a home for the series

There's also this :

AMERICAN GODS also has the single hottest and most pornographic gay sex scene ever put on mainstream television, so buckle up for ep 3
