Here for the Tyler Sequin cameo that's supposed to happen in Goon 2. I'm trash. Don't judge me.

North Carolinian. Weird, I know, but the Stars are my Western conference team. Plus, when your home team is the Hurricanes, you gotta have a backup, lol.

JORDAN STAAL ICON!

Sorry, he's my favourite player after Sid and no one ever seems to appreciate him lol

Poor Jordie. He kind of fell off the map once he left Pittsburgh (and came to us in Carolina), and it makes me really sad. I think, pound for pound, that he's the best player of all the brothers, and being on the same team with Eric (before the trade happened last year) hasn't really benefitted him at all. He seems to do better under a captain with a type A personality like Crosby, rather than Eric's brand of leadership--who by all accounts believed in a less vocal, more *lead by example* type of captaincy. And now he's out with the concussion. Poor guy. /sad face

I know he wanted to go to Carolina to play with his brother, but I really think Eric leaving will be better for him. It sounds weird to say this about a dude who's been in the league 10 years, but I think this might be his breakout year with the Canes (also weird because he technically had his breakout year on the Pens). Everyone's been talking about how well he's been playing and how irreplaceable he is now that he's out with injury. I think he might take a bit of both Eric and Sid's leadership and make it his own. I mean, I remember Dupuis and other guys talking about Staal's leadership on the Pens. So hopefully, he finally comes into his own now
