Adding an OC from the tv series to the comics canon is cool but not unheard of. What's unheard of is an actor from the show gets to write the comics lore. Amazing how did that happen? Was Tim a writer or something?

Kwerkee! I feel like we haven't spoken in ages!

It really is weird and cool, I tried looking but couldn't find anything about how it came about, I'm not aware of Tim having any previous writing experience, his IMDb doesn't have anything under writing.

Miss talking to you but I've been busy. Barely have time for TV. Urgh, will be remedied soon I hope. There are a few new shows I'm curious about.

The fact that the comics people reached out to Tim, makes me think they enjoy and approve of the show. Other shows are barely acknowledged by the respective comic writers. I'm proud of them.

Busy good I hope, I also hope you have some free time (for tv viewing of course). What new shows are you interested in?

Beau Smith (the comic creator) was involved with the casting and has incorporated things from the show into the new comics (starting from Wynonna being a brunette instead of a blond, then incorporating characters since 90% of the characters on the show aren't in the comics) and he's spoken very highly about the show and says they've elevated his material, plus he keeps going with them to comic con and tells them they can use any character from his comics. I'm very proud of the show too.

It's the good kind of busy :) I wanna see Luke Cage, that Kiefer Sutherland and Maggie Q show, that Van Helsing girl show, Stranger Things, Frequency - there may be more but can't remember them all. I checked out the Exorcist pilot and I liked it but haven't watched more of it. And I haven't watched any of the returning shows yet.

I didn't know the creator was that involved with the show! That's different. Lol I'm glad they have his approval.

I'm waiting for my mom to get back from the States to start Luke Cage. I'm watching 'Designated Survivor' and enjoying it, 'Stranger Things' was a great show, not interested in Van Helsing and rating wise Frequency seems DOA, so I'm not sure I want to even try it. I'm not big on horror, so I'm not gonna watch The Exorcist probably, but the ratings are bad there too, it's likely to be cancelled.

I mean, I don't think Beau Smith is producing the show or involved in it that much, but it's cool that they involved him in the casting process and that he's with them at cons. I always love when shows have approval and support of the material's original creator.
