FINAL FANTASY XV - First 12 minutes of KINGSGLAIVE + One Hour Gameplay footage of FFXV
Fresh on the heels of the recent news that the game is delayed until November, SE and Sony Pictures has released a video featuring the first 12 minutes of the movie tie-in, Kingsglaive, which is set prior to the actual videogame.
The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the sacred Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis of Lucis (Sean Bean) commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, Nyx Ulric(Aaron Paul) and his fellow soldiers fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum - to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae (Lena Headey), captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to the empire’s rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination.
This is the third CG Final Fantasy movie that SE has released since Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children back in 2005, nearly 11 years ago.

I'm not watching the clips myself, as I'm trying to stay spoiler-free (good luck on that, since I frequent videogame boards...). But thought I'd submit a post for those who don't mind =) So far, Kingsglaive, has been getting some pretty good reviews from those who have seen it already, so I'm pretty stoked!
As for the game itself, despite the delay, I'm still looking forward to playing this. I don't personally mind it since it gives me more time to save up for the Ultimate Collector's Edition. Sure it's been 10 years now since was first announced, and in that time my oldest nephew himself turned 10 just two days ago...but I can wait. That and, well, too much game development...[Spoiler (click to open)]is Never Enough. ♥
