I don't know if this would ease your mind, but there's this Open Letter/Petition going around - not the Netflix petition, but one that's well written with 3 viable options for the future of the show and that also scalps Showtime in the process. It's here. The shade through towards Showtime is epic.

I've completely avoided anything to do with Penny Dreadful, including the actors, the subreddit and reruns. Still have yet to watch the last 4 episodes, whereas now I've just pretended that everything ended well... Until I saw this post here. I legit want to flip my shit.

I finally got around to watching it two days ago. It was fucking tragic. It felt so fucking rushed and cheap, the fight sequence in particular. Fuck them.
